Yeah, I would say it's possible. I guess it all depends on what you define love as, because in my mind you better show more love to your mate then anyone else or other wise they really aren't your mate.

Okay, What if you hanged out with your mate almost everyday and did all the usual stuff but, one day out of the month you had a swinger life style and dated someone else. In my mind if you show more love to your mate then your swinger friend, and your mate is okay with this then I don't see a problem with it. (Yeah, I'm assuming if you having sex with someone else you are practicing safe sex, other wise things might make your first mate pissed off at you..)
