do you think that the kindle/nook will be the death of the books

it may be, but not right now. Give it a few years or so, maybe more and i think it will be the new way books are done.

 

Its like video's and Dvd's... DVD's are the thing and i dont know any places that sell VHS anymore, expect for some second hadn shops, op shops etc.

I can see the appeal but I prefer the feel of an actual book in my hand.

All you have to do is move to appreciate ebooks. No more heavy lifting. But I think there will always be a place for real books.
