Bolt Moderators... And Moderation

[Bolt Restarter]

I need to figure out how much or how little moderating to do on this site. Certain things are out of my control, but others are really just based on the preferences of Bolt members. Weigh in on what kind of moderation should be done.. What is appropriate and what isn't appropriate? When should a member be banned from the site? What pic's, language, videos, topics, etc..., should or should not be permitted? Keep in mind, if there is any moderation at all, it is all going to be volunteer based! Not perfect... There is no money to do any better ;)

Meh, Joz is just a living breathing spam bot. His posts contribute nothing and are just random copy and pasted things. I really can't see why people like him or even tolerate his presence on the site. I'm sure he's a nice person and all if he were to post regularly but as it stands I don't like the dude.

Moderation: If it's done I think it should be done VERY sparingly. I wouldn't move it far beyond the picture section. It's up to you whether you remove nudity or not, I don't really care either way. The forums on the other hand - I don't think they should be moderated beyond deleting very very blatant spam (such as Johnson's 80 message spam the other day). As far as language goes, it's never been cause for problems in the past. I feel like unless it's sexual harassment in someone's profile, it should be left alone.

That's just my two cents though.

Oh yes, posting about handjobs and blowjobs in random topics makes total sense. If you read posting irrelevant content violates the terms of service.

See if you were to post like this on a regular basis, I wouldn't have a problem but honestly all you do is go to wikipedia or whatever, copy and paste some random article. I think it's just a waste of time.

BTW I never advocated banning you, I just said that I don't like your posting. If you forgot, I was the one that informed BBrenna on the last Bolt to have your account (and others) re-activated because they were unjustly shut down.

Set it so that you'd have to register as an adult to see art tagged with nudity.
Language should not be a problem. When it gets vulgar then just tag it as 'mature'
