Those three games are like a stereotypical answer to this kinda question. FF7 was way overated and way overhyped. CC was good, but slow. OoT, well I think Majora's Mask was way better.

i never played one of the Halo games, Gears Of Wars is a pretty good game that keeps me playing online

Oh, and I actually quite liked The World Ends With You for the Nintendo DS. I thought the battle system was cool and I couldn't get enough of the shopping aspect :p

You'll love oblivion, i think it is one that can be called as one of the best games ever made! For me the best of final fantasy series are FF8 and FF9, however i am looking foward to FF13 that will be coming out next year

Yeah, I can't say anything about Final Fantasy really because I've ever only played 10 and half of 7. Well, and 15 minutes of FFXII but I didn't care for the gameplay much and am still trying to force myself to get into it. But my boyfriend seems to really like 8 and 9 too.

I am ADORING Oblivion. Already like it a ton more than Fable (which, really, I thought was quite bad ass). And a friend's convinced me that I finally need to play the God of War games too. So basically just spending the next few months catching up on essential gaming I missed because I was too young or too sucky play :p
