Okay team I've been using Audacity to record for the last year and it's just not cutting it for me anymore.  Mixcraft looks great but it's only a 60 day free trial and I'm a cheap ass.  So does anyone know any good freeware recording programs that are good for recording and editing multiple tracks with vocals and instruments.  My biggest problem with Audacity is that when  I run my instruments through my amp I'm not able to hear over my headphones what's been tracked on Audacity at times(already tried multiple jacks and different settings) also it has know drum tracks or loops.  So if anyone knows or has a better program (free) that they can share with me that would be great.

Any of that work for you?
It better be a epic song.
Ummmm...you are aware that bit torrent exists, and that paying for software is therefore optional, right?
