Well not only are they mean online think about what they are doin on the streets! kids killing kids!. I never thought I would see the day... I suppose this is the cost of having such a materialistic society.

All I have to say is that internet is full of haters from everywhere... it's hard to say if people are getting meaner online however.

the internet and texting are the top means of communication so thinking before you speak you can just throw that out the window most ppl will not say half of what they type in response to videos or questions in person

Society as a whole is getting meaner. I has to do with the fact that as cities grow, the liklihood of running into the same people again becomes less and less likely. See, in smaller societies, people adapted quickly to the fact that being mean to a fellow member would get the word out quickly, and the mean person would then be locked out of the benefits of society. But in today's world, someone can leave a nasty comment on your page, just to be mean, then go back to his life as if nothing happened, because nothing will ever come of it.
