How do you feel about Anonymous and Occupy movements? Do you support them? Are you against them? Not interested in them at all?

Leave it to a Queer-O-Peon to ask another guy to orally stimulate his pecker instead of stating the facts.

Anonymous is not dead. It may be full of newcomers and not many of the originals around. Whoever they are they are still spreading news and getting the word out. It will have to move beyond the internet eventually anyway, and people that claim to be anonymous are, there is no way to join anonymous no rules you just simply are or aren't. People that use the anonymous banner are doing their part. Some of them anyway, I can't speak for all of anonymous or anyone really, I can only speak on things I've seen which is a lot of support for occupy movements and lots of news sharing. Hacks provide attention and peak interest but they aren't going to be the deciding factor in anything. Ultimately protesting will be the key, or actual revolution. In my opinion.

Ron Paul doesn't seem like a bad guy. He's different than any politician I've personally ever heard. I like what he has to say and I don't think man this guy is a fucking liar or an idiot when I hear him talking. Generally I don't like hearing politicians talk at all,but there are a few that seem decent.

Hmmmm, interesting, I was just gonna say that very thing about the "left" side of politics. Guess it always comes down the same thing, "he said she said". All of them are fucking blithering retards. Some people would protest a free lunch just to be protesting something.

Here's what I think. The entire right side of politics is populated by individuals that are nothing but mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revoltution comes. Every single fracking one of them. That aside, I do agree that some hipsters do get caught up inside their own asses.

Please kill yourself, you old hysterical lady, anonymous is a decentralized group that doesn't push any particular agenda or follow any set rules. The media and 13 year old boys lovingly distorts them into a huge hack-tivist group...which they aren't.

I wasn't around when it began, but the fact that there are people out there still using the name and spreading word etc is a good sign that it isn't dead. It's changed. Also those rules don't really apply to the changed anonymous since they are actively spreading the name and awareness under the anonymous banner. Still you could be right. I don't support anonymous or occupy under individual ideals by either group. I support the coming together of different groups taking a stand together. Currently that movement may seem laughable but regardless as to who is anonymous and who isn't it's growing. Maybe I should have asked a different question with this forum something like, Are you going to watch your government take all of your rights away without a word, or are you going to do what you can to try and prevent it? If you don't think things are happening that we as the people should be concerned about then you need to read more news. Even mainstream media is still reporting things that are going on that are a bit alarming. I don't really care if the original anonymous is dead. Change won't be achieved through hacking alone. Script kiddies or not they achieve awareness. Which is the point.

Oh, Anonymous IS dead, dude. All those "newcomers" haven't a clue, there wasn't enough Oldfags around to orientate the "newcomers" (Newfags).

So basically the Anonymous you know is a CORPSE, struggling to be what it once was (alive), achieving some good things, but nothing any more impressive than any other SOCIAL MOVEMENT. Anonymous was never a "social movement", it was a fucking philosophy. It transcended culture for the very purpose of freedom. Now all it is is a political organisation comprised of do-gooders.

And there ARE rules in Anonymous. This is an example of how you "newcomers" haven't a fucking clue. There are plenty of rules to Anonymous - Two of which we're both breaking right now.

I'm not hysterical. I can read. People who claim to be anonymous may not be a close group of friends or anything like that, but they are helping to get people organized. If you don't see it you are blind. If you don't think anything is wrong and needs to be addressed then you don't read the news. If it's a waste of your time then why are you responding to this at all. Be a part of it or don't be the choice is yours. If you live in a free country know this, someone in your government is working to take that away from you. I suggest you get yourself more informed. We are legion, not of one particular skill but many, we are legion not of one race but all, we are legion all of us together anonymous or not. Read the news then talk about hysterics. Wake up before you're a slave or a prisoner. Oh, and before you say something like "I already am or life isn't always perfect." I've been to prison, trust me there is more freedom you can lose.

Only trolls use ad hominem attacks to compensate for their ideological deficiency. Since you haven't countered any of points then you must secretly agree with me.

It may end up being nothing and phasing out, but if you are an informed person as you seem to be. Then with the state of things in the world. Censorship laws, freedom of speech, freedom to assemble all disappearing in supposed free countries. Then you have to realize that these movements, anonymous or not, people need to organize and fight for more than our rights for our world. If you think the movements are dead then you should help revive them. Once they censor the internet and stop protesting all together it will be harder to organize. Mainstream media definitely won't help. So maybe you are right. I can't tell you what to do but I can ask you help, don't walk quietly to the cage. I don't particularly consider myself anonymous but I do spread news and try and do what I can. It's the only reason I started this forum post. They do have a small saying that you have probably heard. " as long as there is one of us left" if all else fails I will wave a banner of anonymous and keep trying to stop those that would see us all in a cage or as robots. Don't join anonymous, but join the fight. If you don't make a million dollars a year they don't give a shit about you. You are sheep to them as I am. Thanks for replying. Join the fight my friend. And tell others. If there was ever something worth fighting for, freedom is it. Humanity is it. The earth is it. On current course all of the above will be lost if we do not stand against those who not only would but actively seek to destroy it. Be well my friend.

I am the new number 2. I want information.

Thanks. It's refreshing to talk to someone who is informed and doesn't make decisions based on hearsay or laziness or just plain ignorance. I'm about to start doing a blogtalk internet radio show. It's not going to be anything major just a few people talking about news and events. We'll be doing it on fridays. I'll link it in here later this week, if you feel like it listen and feel free to call in and put me in my place, agree, or just give your own opinion. Link to come. Thanks for responding. I have a bit of a longer response to your response but I'm in a bit of a hurry so it will have to wait. Take care.

Okay, this is very tl;dr, but if we're talking about effecting real change here, then I suggest we both be willing to read a hell of a lot of text. Humanity hasn't had an opportunity to hump the shit out of this kind of format yet.

number4, I like you, I like how you think. But I don't fully agree. I think we have slightly different enemies, although we are surely fighting side-by-side.
It just comes across as disgusting and arrogant to me that the comfy Middle Class (yes, I'm a Class'ist) have co-opted yet another group to channel their collective guilt over how shitty this world is. How could I illustrate this? It's kinda like being in a football club, and all of a sudden 100 people arrive and they want to play... but they play badly, and not only that, they want to turn the football club into an ultra-Liberal organisation and save the planet. Those 100 people could have gone off and done a lot of brilliant things, they didn't need my football club, they just got a kick out of the glamour of being a part of it.
Do ya see my point now? I don't think you were missing it, as much as you weren't expecting it.

I'm not one for "let's all go out and stop this bad thing from happening". I know how they work out in the end - the same as anything else man built to fix the world (government, religion, Communism, political parties, and revolutionary parties).
What really is a travesty in this world is that we all live Existentially rotten lives. We're slaves to our homes, the cities, the roads. When we go to visit somewhere else in the world it's to exploit it somehow or because the Travel Brochure told you it's a nice place.
In Ireland and other parts of Europe, vast tracts of fertile land lays to waste as more-and-more our food comes out of factory farms. In Ireland we call it "The Set Aside Initiative". The European Union (what people like my Grandad in the IRA were warning everyone of) pays farmers for each unused acre of land annually. This is what you call an example, a tiny piece in the fractal of Human Stupidity. The world is our enemy, and we treat it like a Waiting Room.
We spend our lives doing things we hate, and if we can't do those things we hate ourselves, and when other people can't pull it off we hate them just to feel better about it. So we live these terrible lives, oblivious on the surface, but all-knowing in our inner-most core, and we hate it. You don't need to call Dr. Freud to figure out that we can't own something that terrible about ourselves, we'd much rather turn around and point the finger at someone else. It's much easier to blame this kind of situation on the people carrying out the dirty work (police, military, government, and religion) and go argue with them about why they choose a career created by your stupidity. Its much harder to ask the big questions, travel the world, talk to grandparents, and have Mystical experience and make sense of them - but in my humble opinion that's the only way out.
Isn't it common knowledge at this stage; the one man you don't mess with and have the hardest time getting past is the man who knows why HE (personally, him alone) is alive today? Believe me, you... there are millions of people out there who are right now indulging in conspiracy theories, radical philosophies, technology, Mysticism, and they think they're hot shit. These things are fantastic in themselves and really helpful, but these people have no substance to them. They're as much robots as the people you find zonked in front of the television, they're the walking dead, and they're predictable to the letter. A lot of these people find that meaning in family and romantic love in a voyeur kind of way, and at least that's something. But when it comes to the crunch the elite can mow right through these guys. They're fucking useless.
You, bro, so far aren't striking me as a zombie. I only spent this nice evening typing that because I know one way or another you'll get something out of it.

Yeah, Ron Paul has some super shiny things to say if you're a white Christian male. Other than that, though, sucks to be you.

I suppose that means only "white, Christian" men are interested in having a common sense foreign policy, want a republic instead of an empire that occupies over 100 countries throughout the world, desire an actual balanced budget and end the self-destructive war on poverty and drugs. Anyone able to see beyond their own self-interest has to realize that this matters more someone's right to terminate their pregnancy.

Abortion is practically a non-issue in the USA. It still gets alot of coverage but republicans just want to talk about it. Here is something neither pro-lifer/pro-choicer will honestly tell you: legal abortion is here to stay.
