Did you know that cartoons are a purely American creation, Anime is a French word to mean animation, but most people use it to define any animation that is not American. Its just a little factoid.

You should try some of the good animes out there, My Neighbor Totoro, Whispers of the Heart, stay away from Naruto and Bleach, those are just not really artwork.

I consider anime to be art...a form of animation that has an artistic value to it.

There are come cartoons I do enjoy, My Little Ponies is one of them, yeah, I'm a Bronie, been one since 1986. LOL

I never liked Scooby Doo...I was more of the fan of MLP, Sailor Moon, Ghost Busters (Animated Series), and maybe some Looney Tunes (But I always found Looney Tunes to be a bit racist)

Yes, its under production and should be out soon. I can't wait to see what's in store.
As for the movies, Mononoke-hime, Howl's Moving castle, and Spirited away have been fan favorites for years. Ponyo joined this, but, I think I would rather like Pom Poko
