It's simple. Secure our borders, and enforce immigration law. The only problem i have with this whole illegal immigration debate is this. When the economy was great, no one cared if illegals were coming in here by the truck load. They did the jobs no one else wanted to do, and they did it cheap. At one time, we were all "too good" for that stuff. But right when the economy takes a shit, we look south of the border and blame immigration. Suddenly the jobs we were all to good for are being "stolen" by illegals. Just playing a lil devils advocate here.

I do believe in securing our border and enforcing immigration law. I just don't like the fact that when everything is all good, we turn a blind eye. But right when things go to shit, we blame the dirty mexican.

"Many people would have us believe that it would not actually be possible to round up and deport all illegal aliens in the U.S. This is most definitely not the case. It is merely a lack of resolve to do so. How can I say this? Easy. It’s been done successfully multiple times in the past. In fact, three of our most well-known presidents initiated successful illegal alien deportation programs."

I don't recall seeing a "repeat."
So I should go back 10 pages to “necro” a post? In online etiquette this action is frowned upon. I know you have an axe to grind with me but at least try to keep your rationality in check over your hysteria. I believe this would serve you better.
I can already tell you're the type who hates to be wrong and then acts like biggest sore loser possible. What is the matter, kiddo? Feeling sorry for yourself again?
Try to re-read what I said again. If you still feel that way than keep reading it until you know I am right.

I know many things don't make sense to you but that is your problem, not mine.
Think about the security threat of HOW those illegal immigrants made it into this country and how easy it would for other groups of peoples to get here using the same route. Then think of the mass amount of resources used to snuff out terrorist and the intelligence used to stop threats in the united states. From all this do you really believe it's not possible to use a like minded front against the invasion of our borders from Illegal Immigrants? The answer is simple. The American Government has the ability to not only keep out but send back a majority of illegal immigrants back to their country yet aren't as harsh on Mexican immigrants as they are those from Cuba. Why is this? Because we have an alliance with them the whole future plan to blend USA, Mexico, and Canada into one super govt. It stems down to diplomatic relations, our ties with Mexico are good.

Question is in all actuality how and why is the Mexican people worth more than that of Cuba's to the American Government.
This topic gets me on my nerves. I am Mexican and live in Mexico and plan to live here all my life. The whole 'American Dream' stuff seems like an excuse to seek an 'easier' way of living for those who left. To be honest Immigration became a problem for you guys because everybody was comfortable with my fellow Mexicans doing humiliating jobs for a third of the pay they'd have to pay to any 'legal resident'. Why? because being illegal meant saving money in mass amounts. And employers were more than happy with that. Same thing happened to Canada, now they require a visa to any Mexican intending to visit, right? So it becomes a problem when everybody wants to join in...
This topic is anything but easy, whatever side you look at it.
I congratulate you for staying in Mexico because I've never met a Mexican who was proud to consider themselves Mexican. I think many of Mexico's current problems are due to an exodus of citizens leaving the impoverished and corrupt nation to establish a living in a far more productive and modern society. One where anyone from anywhere can live the American dream.

However the problem with illegal Mexicans is that they are set to bankrupt this nation because they feel entitled to various social programs which they never paid nor ever deserved. Hey, national security aside, if Mexicans want to be paid 3 cents for picking fruit that is their plight. No one has ever forced a single Mexican in this nation to take an American job they didn't want. But if you want to come into this nation illegally don't expect me to learn Spanish and pay for your anchor babies. I might have a little more sympathy if these people made an attempt towards assimilation.
hmm, this is another topic that has a lot of pros and cons...but, it boils down to one simple truth.....unless your full bloded native, then you or your ancestors immigrated here at some point.....the only difference is when
Okay, I partially agree with you. They aren't paying taxes but they're washing toilets and doing dishes, a job none of your unemployed fellow compatriots? would dare take, I could bet my life on it. And you wouldn't want to pay taxes on top of that, of that I'm also sure.
I've never heard of Mexicans in the movie industry, nor business or other 'top jobs' in your country, they always do 'the embarrassing jobs', so I'd love to learn how they're taking your jobs away and how they affect your economy? And how is that the 'American Dream'? To wash toilets? I don't think so.
I mean no offense to anyone on this site, I LOVE my country very much, that's why I'm so certain I'm staying here all my life. :) And that's the reason I cannot understand ppl who left also.
Oh, and btw, 'America' includes Canada, The USA, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, among many other countries, why do some of you guys keep believing you're the belly of the world?
Well, you're the first person to admit to it. But let's face it, 99% of them don't. Just as I was told to be the exception for being proud of my broken nation you're the exception for doing such work, end of story.
I do agree with you on securing the borders but the part about "they do jobs no one else wants to do" I have to argue. Illegal aliens take the jobs that Americans can't do because employers won't pay minimum wage or provide reasonable benefits or safe working conditions. It costs our nation 4.7 billion dollars a year just in health care for these people, we're also spending about 30 billion a year to educate them, How about the 17% of all those in federal prison are illegal aliens which is a pretty big number when they represent only 3% of the population. and it's not free room and board in those lovely federal hostel's we're also paying for that too.
