have you ever been a rebound? what are the pros and cons?

sex is good, emotional commitment is minimal, you already know the inevitable big tear-jerking breakup is not in the post on this one, you don't have to meet her friends/family/coworkers, and you're building good karma by helping someone get over something (because the amount of time you have to grieve for a dead relationship varies in proportion to how much of someone else's saliva you swallow) cons? can't think of any.
